Hope and goals for 2021

 

Hey guys, Happy new year to you all. How are you doing? I'm sure you guys are doing good. 

by the way, this is still the beginning of the new year, and I'm sure everything is going to be better this year.

Today I back here for quite a long time I didn't write a blog, since today is New Year, I won't talk about a description or my experience, or maybe grammar, today I want to tell you guys about my hope and goals for this year.

Since last year was really bad for me and I guess it's bad for everyone because of pandemics, I wish this year the pandemic will disappear, and the virus disappears. Everyone will be healthy and everything will be normal again like what we used to do before the pandemic come. Because of this pandemic, everything is bored, I only spend so much time at home and play with my cellphone or laptop for a whole day.

Besides that, I also hope that want to be a better person, and diligent this year. I also want to fix my relationship with God to be better and make myself close to god. another hope that I want for this year is to lose weight even just a little bit. that will be great for this year to have that hope, also I'm hoping this year would be a lot better than last year.

since I'm hoping to lose weight, for this year I also planning some things to do, like a diet to reduce calorie consumption.

and if I have free time and chance, I want to spend that free time to go to the beach outside Jakarta also I will use my time to learn Turkish and french, I also planning to be more productive this year, 

and planning to join to MUN school or Model United Nation, it's like an academic simulation of national unity, where I will take a class there. so I can be more productive this year.

So, Whta is attention?

Attention is the behavioral and cognitive process of selectively concentrating on a discrete aspect of information, whether considered subjective or objective, while ignoring other perceivable information. It is a state of arousal. William James (1890) wrote that "[Attention] is the taking possession by the mind, in clear and vivid form, of one out of what seem several simultaneously possible objects or trains of thought. Focalization, concentration, of consciousness are of its essence." Attention has also been described as the allocation of limited cognitive processing resources. Attention is manifested by an attentional bottleneck, in term of the amount of data the brain can process each second; for example, in human vision, only less than 1% of the visual input data (at around one megabyte per second) can enter the bottleneck, leading to inattentional blindness.

 

Attention remains a crucial area of investigation within education, psychology, neuroscience, cognitive neuroscience, and neuropsychology. Areas of active investigation involve determining the source of the sensory cues and signals that generate attention, the effects of these sensory cues and signals on the tuning properties of sensory neurons, and the relationship between attention and other behavioral and cognitive processes, which may include working memory and psychological vigilance. A relatively new body of research, which expands upon earlier research within psychopathology, is investigating the diagnostic symptoms associated with traumatic brain injury and its effects on attention. Attention also varies across cultures.

 

The relationships between attention and consciousness are complex enough that they have warranted perennial philosophical exploration. Such exploration is both ancient and continually relevant, as it can have effects in fields ranging from mental health and the study of disorders of consciousness to artificial intelligence and its domains of research.

Cappadocia 

is a historical region in Central Anatolia, largely in the Nevşehir, Kayseri, Kırşehir, Aksaray, Malatya, Sivas and Niğde provinces in Turkey. Cappadocia is famous for its fairytale scenery, cave dwellings, remarkable rock formations and, of course, the hundreds of hot air balloons that soar in the sky during sunrise each morning. There is also so much awesome hiking in Cappadocia, that it will take you at least a week to explore all of the place in Cappdocia, exploring the ancient the valleys and of course mesmerized by the hot air balloons.

Since the late 300s BCE the name Cappadocia came to be restricted to the inland province (sometimes called Great Cappadocia), Upper Cappadocia, which alone will be the focus of this article. Lower Cappadocia is focused to elsewhere.

According to Herodotus, in the time of the Ionian Revolt (499 BC), the Cappadocians were reported as occupying a region from Mount Taurus to the vicinity of the Euxine (Black Sea). Cappadocia, in this sense, was bounded in the south by the chain of the Taurus Mountains that separate it from Cilicia, to the east by the upper Euphrates, to the north by Pontus, and to the west by Lycaonia and eastern Galatia.

The name, traditionally used in Christian sources throughout history, continues in use as an international tourism concept to define a region of exceptional natural wonders, in particular characterized by fairy chimneys and a unique historical and cultural heritage.

Hey guys, I'm back again to talk about descriptive text.

What is desciptive text?

Descriptive text is a text which says what a person or a thing is like. Its purpose is to describe and reveal a particular person, place, or thing.

Example for descriptive text

Jember Regency

Jember is a regency in East Java. It is located in between Bondowoso and Banyuwangi. Banyuwangi is regency that is located at the easternmost end of Java Island, before Bali Strait, so that we can know that Jember is near enough from Bali Island.

Jember is a beautiful place. In Jember, there are a lot of interesting places to visit, such as Papuma Beach, Watu Ulo Beach, Watu Ondo, Pancer Beach, Rembangan, and so on. Jember also has a famous carnival, named Jember Fashion Carnaval. It is an international annual fashion carnival which usually held in August. Beside some beautiful places and a famous carnival, Jember also has a unique culture. People usually called it as Pendhalungan. Pendhalungan is an acculturation culture between Javanese and Maduranese. Jember has a total area of 3,293.34 km2. Because of that, it creates a different culture between North Jember and South Jember. In North Jember, there are a lot of Maduranese people and they usually speak Maduranese. On the other hand, In South Jember, not many Maduranese people live there. It is dominated with Javanese people. Because of that, it creates a new unique language which other regency do not have. The example is word “Cek” which means “very”.

what is planing?

Planning is the process of thinking about the activities required to achieve a desired goal. It is the first and foremost activity to achieve desired results. It involves the creation and maintenance of a plan, such as psychological aspects that require conceptual skills. There are even a couple of tests to measure someone’s capability of planning well. As such, planning is a fundamental property of intelligent behavior. An important further meaning, often just called "planning", is the legal context of permitted building developments.

Grammar explanation

We use different verb forms to talk about our plans for the future, depending on what kind of plan it is: a spontaneous plan, a pre-decided plan or an arrangement. 

will

We use will to talk about spontaneous plans decided at the moment of speaking.

Oops, I forgot to phone Mum! I'll do it after dinner. 
I can't decide what to wear tonight. I know! I'll wear my green shirt.
There's no milk. I'll buy some when I go to the shops.

going to

We use going to to talk about plans decided before the moment of speaking.

I'm going to phone Mum after dinner. I told her I'd call at 8 o'clock.
I'm going to wear my black dress tonight. 
I'm going to go to the supermarket after work. What do we need? 

 

Present continuous

We usually use the present continuous when the plan is an arrangement – already confirmed with at least one other person and we know the time and place.

I'm meeting Jane at 8 o'clock on Saturday. 
We're having a party next Saturday. Would you like to come?

We often use the present continuous to ask about people's future plans.

This is him, his name is Bilal Taib, his nickname is Bilal. He is from Morroco, especially in a city in nothern of Morroco. He was born in 13th September 2003. He's very kind and friendly. we have known each other maybe since the begining or maybe in the middle of July.

It began with, when I was bored I just randomly added people on Snapchat because I want to look for some new friend. To be honest, it wasn’t easy to find someone who can connect to us and really can find a topic to begin a conversation. Okay after that I just added Bilal at night, and when I woke up there was a notification that he added me back. And I start to say hi to him and he responded it, and I didn’t expect that his response was so good. I was so excited to have found someone to talk to and she was very friendly to me. We talked about a lot of things and I think we made a good conversation. We talk a lot of things and we become close now.

We have the same zodiac, so we are Virgo buddies or maybe like a twin haha, isn’t it sound cool? I think we have some same things, like… we are an overthinker hahaha, we think a lot and too much. He also a smart guy, he followed a physical, chemical, and math olympiad. When I have a math problem that I didn’t know, he helped me to solve it. Don’t forget about his voice, I like his voice so much when he sings a song. He has a good voice

He can speak a lot of languages, his first language is Arabic and French, also he speaks English. Another language that he can is Spanish, and he said he still learns Dutch and Irish. Wow.. haha I feel it so amazing, he can speak a lot of languages. And.. yes! He also teach me French, he helps me learn and understand French.

Wait.. talking about him it won’t complete if we not talk about his hobbies, In my opinion, his hobbies are a little bit unique because I think he has a hobby which is different from some teenagers. Bilal likes to read books, he likes every genre of books if he likes it, he will read it. Also, he likes to play a rubiks cube and chess. That's unique right?. He likes to hang out with his friends and his best friend too, he hangout a lot with his best friend and he has a lot of friends. He also likes to watch Netflix. His interest in making a lot of friends worldwide too.

Don’t forget about his favorite food, he like pizza and Morrocan foods, one of his favorite food is couscous, hmmm yess he eats a lot but he still skinny ( this is what he said to me ) hahaha, maybe it because he workout so it makes him healthy. And he said he like pizza and Morrocan food because it’s cool…. haha what? Maybe he means is delicious.
